This one has never been switched on. Booting it up creates a private machine for it — its own computer, with a disk it keeps for good. That's where everything it learns about you lives, and nobody else's Kiddie runs on it.

It takes about a minute, once, and you'll see each step as it happens. After that it wakes up in a second or two, every time.
